The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) recently highlighted Grand Traverse Plastics (GTP) in its statewide Success Stories series, celebrating our ongoing investment in technical molding, regional workforce development, and campus expansions in Williamsburg, MI.

Supported by the Michigan Business Development Program (MBDP), GTP’s recent growth includes a 45,000-square-foot facility expansion, investments in artificial intelligence and automation tools, and specialized technical training programs developed alongside Northwestern Michigan College (NMC).

"The MEDC's partnership gave Grand Traverse Plastics the confidence to keep investing in advanced manufacturing, our Williamsburg campus, and the people who make our performance possible," said CEO Bill Knable. "We are proud to show that world-class manufacturing is not limited to major metro hubs – it is thriving here in Grand Traverse County."
